Finding Books & Articles

These 20 minute tutorials will be held everyday the week of August 31st- September 3rd at 6 pm in the library on the 2nd floor. These tutorials are recommended for new students as well as returning students who would like a refresher.
National Library Week

Patrons are also encouraged to enter our “Guess the Number of Gummy Bookworms in the Jar” contest. Bookmarks will be given to all participants and the winner receives a Borders gift card. The contest ends on Saturday, April 18th.

The theme of this year’s event is “Sustainability and Alternate Energy Resources.” In honor of this event, library staff has created a book display of relevant titles in Biegler Library including:

New Computers
January 24, 2009 at 11:43 pm | In news | Leave a CommentTwo of the public workstations in Biegler Library have been replaced with new equipment.
All computers are running Windows XP and feature the following software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox; Quicktime and Real Player; and Acrobat Reader.

Monday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Closed on Friday and Sunday.
Normal library hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20th.

Green Technology Books in Biegler Library
December 10, 2008 at 6:13 am | In new resources, news | Leave a CommentBiegler Library received a grant from CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois) to purchase books in the area of green technology-industrial applications. The library has created a display of these books in the New Books section. All of these titles are available for check out.
Titles purchased with the grant money include:

- Environmentally conscious transportation-Myer Kutz
- Green electronics design and manufacturing-Sammy Shina
